Music and sounding are such incredible ways to tune in to our inner world, release deeply buried emotions, learn about our mental patterns, and ultimately to bypass the conscious mind and enter profound states of connectedness to our essential, core selves.
In this 4-week online sound journey, we will explore the use of the breath, music, sounding and movement as an opportunity for healing, for bringing us into deeper alignment with our authentic inner nature.
There are a variety of ways that sound has been scientifically proven to be medicinal for us. We will draw on techniques such as shamanic journeying, toning, mantra, harmonic singing, intuitive movement, breathwork, circle songs and more to deepen our sense of connection to ourselves and each other.
As in true ceremony style, the exact flow of each session will emerge in the moment. The intention is to follow a general wave as there tends to be in ceremony: opening the circle, landing in the breath and body, diving deep, exploring inner layers then coming together to share song and celebration in community. Milli will incorporate various instruments to help open inner spaces and guide the journey.

Please come expecting to move, sound and breath freely!! Meaning, wear loose, comfortable clothes and find a space where you can switch off external distractions for our time together. As we are creating sacred space, it is recommended to prepare your physical space before the session starts - clear an area where you can move freely and have an upright comfortable seat nearby. Perhaps light candles or incense, make an altar, or do whatever you personally feel helps you to be centred and open to deeper spaces within. Speakers or bluetooth headphones are suggested for better sound quality (you could half-remove the headphones when you are sounding/ singing to hear yourself and the guidance). If possible, choose a room or location further away from other people so you can sound with as much expression and dynamism as you feel!
